Home for Thanksgiving, nineteen year old Mike Holland has ninety-six hours to make peace with his friends and family on the eve of his deployment to Iraq. Mike's four-day holiday finds the young man reassessing past relationships, forging a new love, and coming to grips with his own mortality as he confronts an uncertain future.
Fresh, vital and unflinchingly true, AMERICAN SON is not just Mike’s story. It is the story of every American son, a fast and furious trip into the bruised heart of a nation, and a vital snapshot of what happens when youthful passion, idealism and thwarted dreams collide.

The people of Northern Uganda have watched in horror as tens of thousands of children have been kidnapped from their homes, marched to Sudan, and then trained as child soldiers in a rebel army.
Through black and white photos and on-camera interviews, the events at GUSCO - the rehabilitation facility for those fortunate enough to have escaped their captors - come to life. Selected stories of the victims of brutality contrast the care and support that the returned child soldiers receive at the rehabilitation center.
The film was screened world wide by AMNESTY INTERNATIONAL to raise awareness of the child soldier issue. The film was also screened at the United States Congress as well as at the Hague.
Bob Smith, U.S.A. provides a view into American culture through the eyes of seven men named Bob Smith.
The filmmakers traveled across the United States documenting the lives of all the Bob Smiths. Despite their common names, the men vary greatly in profession, age and religion . As each man’s story unfolds in their own words, intimate portraits are drawn; creating a poetic, non-judgmental and highly entertaining document of American life.
